Teacher's Corner: Beyond the Classroom Walls. "University Students Create a Children's Book" and "The Flea Market: An Economic Anthropology Class Project"

Abstract

Two collaborative ethnographic projects emphasize the experiential: in the first, college students produce an ABC book for elementary students, and the second enables anthropology students to apply classroom learning to local fieldwork experience; activities suitable for grades 8-12 and college.
