This is a story about two young men who spend a winter lost in a cave full of bears and mountain lions and bats.
Description
The original manuscript of this story is in the Truman Michelson Collection of the Smithsonian Institution's National Anthropological Archives. It was written by Young Bear sometime between 1911 and 1938. The version given here was transcribed, phonemicized, otherwise edited, and translated by Lucy Thomason.
