dc.description.abstract	Paradrymonia badia sp. nov. is described from cultivated material originally collected in the Guianas. The new species has the same habit and grows in similar habitat as P. campostyla , but differs mainly from P. campostyla by the characters of the corolla shape,size, and by the color and pattern of the marking inside the corolla tube.
