ENGLISH AND SPANISH CLASSES TO BE OFFERED AT STRI FOR STRI EMPLOYEES We are planning to offer English and possibly Spanish classes at STRI. These would be offered on STRI facilities (Ancon), subsidized by STRI but would involve a minimum cost to the employees . They would be scheduled immediately after work hours on the employee's own time. We have the possibility of beginning the first English class at the basic or intermediate level, starting in early February which would meet two or three times per week and run for eight weeks. Anyone interested in such a course or other language courses, please contact Maria Morello at Tivoli, 62-3053, as soon as possible. Depending on the numbers of interested persons, we can plan other courses. We recognize that it may be very difficult to accommodate everyone's work schedules according to their work sites, but we will try to arrange other classes if a sufficient number of employees are interested in a language program.
