This bibliography is a supplement to "A Bibliogr^hy of Endangered andThreatened Anphibians and Reptiles in the United States and its Territories"issued as Smithsonian Herpetological Information Service Mb. 46. Additionalreferences to those species listed in the introduction to this publicationare included, as well as references to two species, the Monito gecko(Sphaerodactylus micropithecus ) and Vt^cining toad (Bufo hendqphrys baxteri )

v\^ich have been incorporated into current Program Advices of the U.S. Fishand Wildlife Service for listing or prc^xssal to the U.S. List of Endangeredand Threatened Wildlife in fiscal year 1981. It should be also noted thatreferences to two species occurring within U.S. territories, Epicratesmonensis granti and Crocodylus porosus , were included in S.H.I.S. No. 46and are included in this supplement, even though both names were emittedfrom the list of species covered in the original bibliography. Althou^ nofuture bibliographies cf this nature are planned, updated lists of referencesdealing with federally protected or proposed species of anphibians and reptilesmay be obtained from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Finally it should benoted that ccpies of all unpublished reports cited both in S.H.I.S.
