Summer data was collected on 12 study plots in southern Indiana, USA between 2011 and 2014. Winter data was collected in Belize between 2011 and 2013.
The file IPM_data.txt can be opened and executed in R to create the model input objects containing each demographic data set. These objects include:
1) a matrix y containing the plot-level annual counts (y);
2) a matrix marray.j.sum containing the juvenile summer annual capture-resight data in m-array format;
3) a matrix marr.a.sum containing the adult summer monthly capture-resight data for known residents in m-array format;
4) a matrix marr.at.sum containing the adult summer monthly capture-resight data for transients in m-array format;
5) a matrix marr.j.win containing the juvenile winter monthly capture-resight data for known residents in m-array format;
6) a matrix marr.jt.win containing the juvenile monthly capture-resight data for transients in m-array format;
7) a matrix marr.a.win containing the adult winter monthly capture-resight data for known residents in m-array format;
8) a matrix marr.at.win containing the adult monthly capture-resight data for transients in m-array format;
9) a matrix ch.telem containing the individual post-fledging radio tracking histories;
10) a vector l.pf containing the last known-sighting of each post-fledging individual;
11) a vector year.pf containing the year of each post-fledging individual;
12) a vector plot.pf containing the plot of each post-fledging individual;
13) a matrix J containing the total number of fledglings recorded on each plot in each year.
